Our Best Coverage for Complete Event Protection

Adverse Weather Pre-tournament Coverage

  • Safeguards against cancellations or postponements due to adverse weather, protecting against potential income loss or extra expenses.
  • Coverage includes the perils of tropical storms and hurricanes, tornadoes, severe weather, heavy rainfall, or any other weather phenomena that render the course unplayable due to storm damage, wooded bunkers, saturated greens, and dangerous lightning conditions, as determined by course management.
  • Standard coverage begins 12 hours before the tournament’s start time. Can be extended to 24 hours before the tournament’s start time.

Rain Accumulation Coverage

  • Activates once the adverse weather golf coverage ends.
  • Specifically tailored for incremental rain accumulation during the tournament.
  • The tournament does not need to be canceled or abandoned to receive a rain accumulation claim.

Sample Policy

A $25,000 limit for a tournament starting at 9:00 a.m. on October 15: Adverse Weather coverage starts at 9:00 p.m. on October 14 and concludes at 9:00 a.m. on October 15. From 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on October 15, a 0.25″ or greater rain accumulation coverage is in force. With this policy in place, it would pay a claim of $25,000 if either the tournament was forced to cancel due to adverse weather before the tournament, or if there was 0.25” or more rainfall accumulation during the first four hours of the tournament.
