Adverse Weather Pre-tournament Coverage

  • Safeguards against cancellations or postponements due to adverse weather, protecting against potential income loss or extra expenses.
  • Coverage includes the perils of tropical storms and hurricanes, tornadoes, severe weather, heavy rainfall, or any other weather phenomena that render the course unplayable due to storm damage, wooded bunkers, saturated greens, and dangerous lightning conditions, as determined by course management.
  • Standard coverage begins 12 hours before the tournament’s start time. Can be extended to 24 hours before the tournament’s start time.

Rain Accumulation Coverage

  • Activates once the adverse weather golf coverage ends.
  • Specifically tailored for incremental rain accumulation during the tournament.
  • The tournament does not need to be canceled or abandoned to receive a rain accumulation claim.
